Apple is seeking a Research Engineer in Cupertino to advance multi‑horizon forecasting, generative strategies, and holistic optimization using deep learning. You will build foundation models, multi-modal and RL approaches, and translate research into scalable business solutions.

You will work with experts across Finance, Sales, and Operations to redefine product lifecycle decisions and drive measurable impact through innovative AI technologies.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in deep learning with publications or real‑world results.
Proficient in Python and DL toolkits (JAX, PyTorch, or TensorFlow).
5+ years of industrial experience in Deep Learning or Quantitative Research.
Sound business instincts and adaptability to change.

Responsibilities

Develop and deploy deep learning models for business solutions.
Collaborate with engineers and researchers to solve forecasting and optimization problems.
Advance foundation models for demand forecasting and RL with distillation.
Translate research into explainable, actionable insights for Apple.
