Job summary

Allspring Global Investments seeks a Bloomberg AIM Technology Analyst to serve as the primary technology expert for Bloomberg AIM and related platform infrastructure, ensuring stability, scalability, and data delivery across trading, portfolio management, compliance, operations and technology.

The role combines ownership of the Bloomberg AIM platform, cross-functional collaboration with Trading, Portfolio Management, and IT, plus data engineering across Snowflake, AWS, PostgreSQL, and SQL

Qualifications

• Demonstrable technical and administrative experience supporting Bloomberg systems within an investment management environment, with hands-on knowledge of Bloomberg’s AIM and PORT ecosystems.
• Understanding of front and middle office investment workflows (order management, trade execution, post-trade, portfolio optimization, portfolio attribution & analytics, reconciliation, messaging).
• Ability to focus and resolve production issues quickly as well as manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Communication skills to effectively engage with technical and non-technical users.
• Technical expertise using SQL to interface with data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Bloomberg AIM Technology Platform Ownership & SME Leadership.
• Data Engineering & Platform Development across Bloomberg ecosystem (Snowflake, AWS, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Implementation, Integration & Change Management including governance and security controls.
• Contribute to design, implementation, and maintenance of data pipelines; develop reporting with Power BI and Jira for KPI tracking.
• Own lifecycle management: onboarding, entitlements, workflow configuration, upgrades, runbooks and training materials.
