West Virginia K-12 Jobs is seeking an AIM (Academic Improvement Mission) Coordinator to support school teams in Wyoming County Schools. The coordinator guides AIM meetings, reviews student data, and recommends interventions.
The role works with principals and teachers to tailor instruction, documents interventions and helps families understand referrals. The coordinator keeps official AIM records and supports referral forms and meeting logistics.
AIM (Academic Improvement Mission) Coordinator
Provide guidance to AIM student assistance team on facilitating effective AIM meetings, reviewing data, identifying and recommending appropriate interventions for identified students.
Support principal and classroom teachers to identify and develop appropriate instruction interventions, analyze data to differentiate instruction to meet student needs, and document interventions to determine student growth.
Assist AIM team members, principals, and parents in understanding student referral.
Schedule and notify all stakeholders of AIM meetings..
Maintain the official records and logs of the AIM meetings and outcomes.
Assist teachers with the preparation of AIM referral forms, as needed
Facilitate team interaction at the AIM meetings.
Summarize discussions and decisions.
Other duties as assigned by the school principal.
A valid WV Teacher Certification
Current employee of Wyoming County Schools
Knowledge of the community, school and the enrolled students is critical in this position, therefore, preference to school counselor, administrators, or current faculty at the school will be given.
