Job summary

New Hanover County Schools invites applications for a Middle School Teacher in the Academically & Intellectually Gifted (AIG) program. The position covers Math across grades 6-9, with AIG NC licensure required and Math 6-9 licensure highly preferred.

This is a regular 10-month contract with full benefits commencing the 2026-2027 school year. By Board Policy 7440, teachers must remain in their school for three consecutive school years.

Qualifications

• NC licensure in AIG is required; Math 6-9 licensure is highly preferred.
• Tenure-track or 10-month contract with full benefits.
