Job summary

Clear Creek ISD is seeking an Aide - Behavior Support for Title 1 to assist campus staff in implementing, monitoring, and collecting data on behavior plans. You will provide direct student support in the classroom and contribute to the district's mission.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, an Educational Aide II certification (or ability to obtain), and 48 college credits or a paraprofessional exam. Bilingual skills are preferred and a strong emphasis on data, safety, and teamwork.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist teacher by providing instruction and behavioral interventions for assigned students.
  • Attend weekly behavior trainings.
  • Collect data on intervention plan.
  • Model interventions for classroom teacher.
  • Model and practice social skills lessons with student.
  • Practice self-regulation techniques with student.
  • Monitor students in a variety of school settings to provide a safe environment for all students.
  • Maintain student confidentiality at all times.
  • Exhibit CCISD Core Values of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.
  • Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.

Education/Certification/Licensure

Special Knowledge/Skills

Effective communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
Minimum of 8 hours training in physical restraint and crises intervention
Objective data communication

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
