Responsibilities

As a Hospice Aide/CNA, you will report to the Administrator or Patient Care Manager and work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your duties include:

  1. Assisting with personal hygiene, environment safety, and light meal preparation
  2. Feeding, ambulation, and safe use of mobility aids
  3. Light housekeeping and assisting with treatments as ordered
  4. Supporting mental alertness and providing emotional support
  5. Reporting changes in patient condition
  6. Practicing infection control and documenting visits
  7. Participating in staff meetings and quality improvement activities
Qualifications

Requirements for Hospice Aide/CNA:

  • Compassionate, empathetic, and flexible
  • Certified Nursing Assistant license
  • Six months of relevant patient care experience preferred
  • Current driver’s license and CPR certification

Additional experience in hospital or emergency settings is a plus. We serve patients in their homes across 36 states, with our headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
