POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD

Dynamic Science, Inc is recruiting a dedicated AIC Facility Chief for the Fort Bliss Airspace Information Center, contingent on award of W911S826RA015. The Chief supervises and manages the AIC only. The position is not combined with the ATC Facility Chief and is not a scheduled control seat except for position-currency requirements in TC 3-04.15.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage AIC operations, including flight following in Fort Bliss special-use airspace (R-5103A/B/C, R-5107A, R-5107K, West Test, Division Training Area, high-altitude mountain area, and the Class G VFR corridor).
• Attend the daily 0800 synchronization meeting and brief AIC missions, exercises, and safety issues.
• Provide subject-matter expertise only. Do not make inherently governmental decisions.
• Ensure the AIC operates to military and ICAO rules; monitor and report equipment and NAVAID status without performing repairs.
• Ensure AIC specialists meet AR 40-501 standards and maintain currency.
• Maintain facility records, publications, duty schedule, position-qualification evaluations, and annual written exams and skill evaluations.
• Coordinate UAS monitoring and de-confliction with Tower, Range Control, and designated stakeholders under AR 95-23 and local SOPs.

Requirements

• Minimum six (6) years of Army fixed-base AIC experience controlling aircraft at Army locations.
• Previous AIC certification prior to employment.
• Must be facility-rated at the Biggs AIC before assuming ATC duties, and must maintain an active Army Class IV flight physical (DD Form 2992).
• FAA Form 7220-1 (ATCS card) for AIC expected; copies submitted for verification.
• U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain SECRET (Tier 3).
• Cannot hold any other PWS position at the same time, including ATC Facility Chief.
• Valid driver’s license; on site for phase-in and full performance. Primary workplace Building 13488; backup AIC area Building 11210.

Schedule and Place of Performance

Day shift, Monday-Friday, 0800-1700, excluding Federal holidays. Currency time only as required by TC 3-04.15. Primary place of performance is Biggs AAF, Building 13488, with AIC backup operations at Building 11210. Work is on a non-personal services contract. The Government does not supervise individual controllers.
