The New School’s Innovation Center is seeking undergraduate students to join as Student Lab Assistants. The role supports AI, XR, and emerging tech programs, assisting with equipment, workshops, documentation, and open-lab hours.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate student at The New School.
• Interest in AI, immersive media, XR/AR/VR, interaction and visual design, digital media, and creative coding.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with AI, XR, immersive tech support and equipment access.
• Support workshops, tutorials, and hands-on learning.
• Help create learning materials, documentation, and media.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Innovation Center projects.
• Collaborate on projects, events, and public programming.
