Job summary
Modern Family Law is seeking an AI Workflow Engineer to design and implement AI-native workflows and automation systems across the firm's legal services. You will build the technical plumbing powering AI-enabled delivery, orchestrate workflows, and integrate CRM, document tools, client portals, and operations.
The role requires deep experience in workflow automation, systems integration, and production-grade Python, plus familiarity with LangGraph, LangChain, LangFuse, and LangSmith.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in IT or related field.
- Experience in workflow automation, systems integration, and software engineering.
- Proficiency in production-grade Python and CI/CD practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AI-enabled workflow orchestration systems across legal and operational processes.
- Develop integrations between AI platforms, CRMs, document automation, client portals, and internal tools.
- Build automation pipelines and event-driven workflows for intake, document generation, communication, routing and escalation.
- Collaborate with Legal Knowledge Engineers and Product Managers to translate workflows into scalable architectures.
- Implement API integrations across third-party platforms and internal systems.
- Monitor workflow reliability, system performance, automation effectiveness and scalability.
