Job summary

Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur, IN, seeks an AI/Virtual Care Nursing Leader to guide nursing leadership and clinical oversight for AI-assisted documentation and virtual-care initiatives across Adams Health.

The role leads AI governance, patient safety and quality oversight, workflow design, implementation, education, and program evaluation to support responsible integration of technology into nursing practice. This is a grant-funded, time-limited position.

Qualifications

• Indiana RN license required.
• BSN required; Master's preferred.
• 3–5 years nursing leadership/informatics experience preferred.
• Nursing informatics or leadership certification preferred.

Description

The AI/Virtual Care Nursing Leader provides nursing leadership and clinical oversight for AI-assisted documentation and virtual-care nursing initiatives across Adams Health. This role leads AI governance, patient safety and quality oversight, workflow design, implementation, education, and program evaluation to support the responsible integration of technology into nursing practice. The position works collaboratively with clinical and organizational leaders to develop technology-enabled nursing workflows that improve efficiency, access, and care delivery while maintaining patient safety, professional accountability, privacy, and quality standards.

This is a grant-funded, time-limited position dependent on continued RHTP/GROW grant funding and organizational need. Future funding is not guaranteed.

Eligible for medical coverage on your 1st day of employment, all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date!

Requirements

30 hours per week - First Shift

Current, unrestricted Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required. Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Informatics, or a related field preferred.

Nursing informatics or nursing leadership certification preferred.

3–5 years of nursing experience, including progressive leadership, clinical informatics, virtual nursing, digital health, quality improvement, or healthcare workflow implementation experience preferred.
