Job summary

Collier.Simon is building an AI-first video studio inside the agency to expand what our team can produce, focused on high-quality AI video for ads, social content, and beyond.

The role requires real filmmaking instincts and fluency with AI video tools to translate ideas into end-to-end production, with the flexibility to lead or work with specialists as needed. This is a fully remote role.

Qualifications

• Hands-on and highly proficient in AI video creation with demonstrated taste, pacing and consistency.
• Strong filmmaking instincts: storytelling through scenes and shots; purposeful cuts and pacing.
• End-to-end capability: concept through post-production, with ability to direct others when needed.
• Ability to ideate and pitch concepts by leveraging current AI video capabilities.
• Fast, decisive work style that ships work on time and to a high standard.
• Clear communicator: efficient loops from brief to options to selects.
• Organized and reliable, maintaining calm under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create AI videos end-to-end: from concept to finished draft, including planning, generation, motion, and post-production.
• Originate and pitch concepts using current AI capabilities to push work forward.
• Translate direction into shot-level execution quickly with minimal oversight.
• Coordinate specialist workflows when needed, brief freelancers, review outputs, and iterate.
• Stay current on new AI video model/tool releases and advise practical usage.
• Keep outputs, versions, and selects organized to ensure fast handoffs and reviews.
