Responsibilities

  • Direct a team of reporters to dominate news on products, personalities, deal flow, and strategic turning points across top AI labs and venture capital firms.
  • Work closely with reporters to turn tips, internal memos, and hunches into exclusive news breaks, deeply reported features, and long-form investigative projects.
  • Help reporters build, expand, and navigate deep sourcing networks across all levels—from frontline researchers and engineers to founders and top VC execs.
  • Balance fast-breaking news alerts with the patience to develop long-range, agenda-setting journalism.
  • Partner with editors and reporters across global bureaus and media formats to deliver seamless, comprehensive tech reporting.
