Job summary

Diamondback Energy is looking for an AI Lead – Value and Economics to establish the enterprise framework for evaluating and maximizing the business value of AI investments. You will collaborate with AI leaders, Finance, and business stakeholders to create valuation methods, success metrics, and reporting that support portfolio prioritization and investment decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in financial analysis or related advisory functions.
• Experience evaluating financial and operational value of technology, analytics, or digital transformations.
• Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the enterprise AI value measurement framework, including valuation methods, baselines, success measures, and reporting standards.
• Establish business-case and valuation standards and partner with Product Owners and business sponsors to develop, validate, and challenge financial models and value assumptions.
• Develop fit-for-purpose valuation approaches including NPV, IRR, scenario analysis, productivity and capacity value, and other operational measures.
