Job summary

Liberty Mutual is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead the Claims AI transformation within US Retail Markets Tech. This role drives multi-year delivery, coordinates with product, architecture, data, and security teams, and ensures alignment with the company’s AI strategy.

The TPM will manage governance, dependencies, and program health while engaging stakeholders across the organization. A strong background in agile delivery and cross-functional leadership is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in technical or business discipline.
• Minimum 10+ years of client-facing program/project management experience delivering software solutions in agile environments.
• Understanding of P&C claims workflows and processes preferred.
• Proven track record managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, and critical paths.
• Expert knowledge of agile methodology and ability to mobilize multiple teams across domains.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end program delivery: develop and maintain multi-year, multidomain delivery roadmaps that map to Claims AI Transformation.
• Translate strategy and OKRs into executable plans for application teams.
• Program owner and single point of contact: provide status, decisions, and delivery logistics to stakeholders.
• Establish and run program governance and ensure timely escalation and accountability for decisions.
• Map and manage dependencies across teams; harmonize objectives and remove blockers.
• Track program financials and report forecast vs. actuals.
• Define and report KPIs, Agile/DevOps maturity, and team health metrics.
• Build and maintain stakeholder management plans and communicate tradeoffs.
• Collaborate with Product, Tech Leads, Architects, DevOps, Data, Security, Finance, and Procurement.
• Engage with TPM community to share best practices and drive improvements.
• Lead complex workstreams with limited direction and escalate when needed.
