Job summary

Selective Insurance, a US-based insurer, seeks an embedded AI leader for the Personal Lines unit to drive AI adoption and transform workflows. You will own the AI portfolio, advocate for innovative, compliant AI solutions, and partner with BU leadership and the AI COE to deliver measurable outcomes.

The role requires extensive insurance and AI experience, strong cross-functional leadership, and a proven ability to translate business needs into scalable AI programs.

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressive experience in insurance operations, technology, product management, or related discipline.
• Three years of experience in property & casualty insurance with core ops knowledge.
• Experience with AI concepts/tools is required.
• Microsoft Copilot or similar technologies a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acts as COE AI evangelist within the business unit, promoting AI-enabled change and driving adoption.
• Shapes and documents AI use cases with BU stakeholders, aligning with strategy and sponsorship.
• Maintains a portfolio view of AI initiatives, monitors health, and escalates blockers with recommended actions.
• Leads AI adoption efforts and champions enterprise training and enablement within the BU.
