GoodLeap, LLC is seeking an Engineering Manager for its AI Transformation team to lead the delivery, quality, and operational health of AI solutions built and maintained by a hands-on engineering leader. You will guide architecture for agentic systems while coaching a growing team.

The role emphasizes strong cloud-native skills, LLM and agent frameworks experience, and collaboration with Product and Compliance in a regulated financial services environment. Salary bands reflect US ranges.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in leadership or management roles.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-based or agentic AI products (prompting, evals, agent frameworks, MCP-or-similar orchestration)
• Strong grasp of cloud-native architecture (AWS or equivalent), API design, and modern CI/CD practices
• Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python
• Track record of hiring, coaching, and growing engineers through changing scope
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; comfortable across Product, business units, Security, and Compliance
• Experience in a regulated environment (fintech, lending, payments) a plus
• Experience integrating AI or agentic tooling into the SDLC to improve engineering throughput a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow the AI Transformation engineering team; manage hiring, performance, and career development.
• Own architecture, delivery, and reliability of the team's AI solutions (agents, plugins/skills, evaluation harnesses, integrations, usage analytics).
• Guide decisions on agentic workflows, LLM integration, and MCP-based orchestration; enforce security, compliance, and auditability standards.
• Collaborate with Product and Enterprise AI Governance to align delivery with business outcomes; define and track KPIs.
• Drive CI/CD, observability, and support rigor; manage technical debt and scale across the portfolio.
