Job summary

Prolific is seeking Data Entry Specialists to join the Expert Network and help train AI models using real data expertise. A quick 10–15 minute test screens candidates, and successful participants are paid to train and evaluate AI models from home.

Researchers often pay up to $25 per hour for tasks that may take about an hour, with many tasks shorter. You’ll work remotely with flexible hours and use tools like Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable, and more to ensure high-quality data results.

Qualifications

• Years of experience in high-volume data entry, data processing, database management, or records administration.
• Strong accuracy with large datasets, identifying inconsistencies and formatting errors.
• Fast typing and ability to handle structured and unstructured data efficiently while preserving quality.
• Familiarity with data formats, validation rules, and spotting AI-generated errors.
• Solid written English for evaluating clarity and correctness in AI outputs.
• Multilingual capabilities are a plus for evaluating multilingual datasets.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI data outputs for accuracy, completeness, and formatting.
• Simulate data entry scenarios and edge cases to test AI handling of messy inputs.
• Audit AI-generated datasets for errors in categorisation, labelling, or field mapping.
• Annotate and label data samples to guide AI learning of data structures and validation rules.
• Ensure data quality benchmarks are met by comparing AI outputs against standards.
