The Consensus is building AI agent infrastructure and a secure runtime for enterprise AI actions. You will contribute to backend services, security, and tools to enable developers to build and run production-grade AI integrations.

This is an in-person role based in San Francisco, requiring strong backend skills in Go, Python, or TypeScript and a proven track record shipping. You'll work across the stack, designing scalable APIs, deploying infrastructure, and shaping the team's roadmap while

Competenze

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with backend focus.
• 5+ years of backend development in Python/Go/TypeScript and API/Web frameworks.
• 2+ years of infrastructure and deployment (AWS/GCP, Terraform, Helm).
• Strong experience building production APIs and writing clean, well-documented code.
• User-centered approach to designing developer-centric tools.

• Build the infrastructure to manage the backplane for all future AI tools.
• Design, build, test, and deploy high-performance, secure, production-grade software.
• Develop SDKs and frameworks for easy tool development by others.
• Help set industry standards for tool calling and authorization.
