Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is hiring an AI Threat Analyst III to support the Insider Risk Program and drive AI-enabled security initiatives. You will surface insider-threat trends, enable proactive defenses, and collaborate with stakeholders across security and compliance domains.

The role requires strong data science experience, programming in Python or R, and expertise with SIEM/UEBA and visualization tools. A Top Secret clearance is mandatory and travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related Intelligence field.
• 5+ years of experience in data science or related field.
• Experience with cyber security tools and SIEM/UEBA platforms.
• Proficiency in Python or R and data visualization tools.
• Active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Security team and stakeholders to drive insider risk program.
• Develop and deploy complex data science, insider threat, AI security solutions.
• Shape data strategy with program leadership to meet project goals.
• Implement AI solutions for offense and defense security operations.
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance.
• Mentor junior/mid-level threat analysts.
• Create detailed reports and visualizations communicating insights.
• Apply ML techniques and statistical models.
• Enhance program processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Stay updated on insider threat trends and AI advancements.
