Qualifications
- PhD in engineering, CS, math, stats, OR, or related field.
- Experience with AI/ML systems and data‑driven approaches.
- Experience in AI/T&E, experimentation, validation or verification.
- Experience coordinating interdisciplinary technical teams.
- Experience with externally sponsored research programs.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into mission‑relevant research.
- Strong communication skills; US citizenship and active secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Lead AI T&E research activities and translate mission needs into evaluation plans.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across government, academia, and industry.
- Develop priorities across multiple projects and ensure sponsor alignment.
- Engage sponsors, communicate findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Mentor students, postdocs, and early‑career staff in rapid AI development.
