Job summary

Staffmark Group in Plano, TX is seeking an AI Technical Trainer for a contract on-site role. You will design simulations, adaptive feedback paths for our AI training chatbot, and develop coaching content to upgrade employee skills.

Collaborate with training managers, product experts, and field leadership to map skill gaps, build conversations, and ensure brand-aligned, high-quality learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years related experience.
• Experience in Learning & Development or instructional design.
• Strong understanding of field sales, retail operations, or customer experience.
• Ability to write clear dialogue and coaching feedback.
• Familiarity with AI tools, conversational design, or simulation platforms.
• Comfort working cross-functionally with product, training, and field teams.
• Creative problem solver with a passion for innovative learning experiences.

• Offer specific training programs to help workers improve job skills.

Summary:

The main function of a trainer is to conduct training and development programs for employees. This person is responsible for collecting information, conducting research, and creating training materials and programs. This trainer will focus on designing simulations and adaptive feedback paths for our AI training chatbot.

Responsibilities:

• Design AI Coaching Simulations: Build interactive, scenario-based simulations that replicate real field interactions, coaching conversations, and decision‑making moments.
• Develop AI Personalities & Coaching Logic: Define coaching styles, feedback patterns, tone, and behavioral responses that align with brand standards and field expectations.
• Partner with Training & Field Leadership: Collaborate with training managers, product experts, and field leaders to identify skill gaps, performance needs, and coaching opportunities.
• Create Conversation Flows & Decision Trees: Write structured dialogue, branching logic, and adaptive feedback paths that allow the AI coach to respond intelligently to user choices.
• Integrate Product Knowledge & Sales Skills: Ensure simulations accurately reflect current products, features, competitive positioning, and customer experience best practices.
• Test, Refine & Optimize AI Behavior: Continuously evaluate simulation performance, user feedback, and coaching accuracy to improve realism and learning impact.
• Manage Content Updates & Versioning: Maintain a roadmap for updating simulations as products evolve, new training priorities emerge, or field performance trends shift.
• Ensure Brand Alignment & Quality: Uphold consistent voice, coaching standards, and training quality across all AI‑driven experiences.
• Monitor, evaluate, and record training activities and program effectiveness.
• Offer specific training programs to help workers maintain or improve job skills.
• Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers.
• Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.
• Organize and develop, or obtain, training procedure manuals and guides and course materials such as handouts and visual materials.
• Present information using a variety of instructional techniques and formats, such as role‑playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, and lectures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training required.
• 2-4 years of related experience required.
• Experience in Learning & Development, instructional design, or training program creation
• Strong understanding of field sales, retail operations, or customer experience.
• Ability to write clear, natural dialogue and coaching feedback.
• Familiarity with AI tools, conversational design, or simulation platforms.
• Comfort working cross‑functionally with product, training, and field teams.
• Creative problem solver with a passion for building innovative learning experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing AI chatbots, virtual coaches, or simulation‑based learning.
• Background in consumer electronics, retail training, or technical product education.
• Knowledge of behavior modeling, decision trees, or conversational UX.
• Ability to translate complex product information into simple, coachable concepts.
