Hiring: AI Technical Lead – Java & Agentic AI

Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

Duration: 12+ Months (Long-Term Contract)

We are looking for an experienced AI Technical Lead with strong Java development and Agentic AI expertise to lead development initiatives combining modern enterprise applications with AI-powered workflows.

Key Technical Skills:

• Java 21, Spring Boot 3.x, and REST API development
• Oracle JDBC, Callable Statements, and stored procedure integration (hands-on experience required; not JPA/Hibernate-focused)
• React, TypeScript, and Python
• PostgreSQL, Flyway, Maven, Docker, and AWS ECS
• GitLab CI/CD and integration testing against live databases

AI & Agentic AI Skills:

• Claude API / Anthropic SDK
• Prompt engineering and structured output design
• Prompt caching and cost optimization
• Context window management and chunking strategies
• Agentic workflows, multi-step reasoning, and tool integration
• AI-augmented development using Claude Code or equivalent
• Python data pipeline development using tools such as openpyxl and FastAPI

Domain Knowledge:

• Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance
• Policy lifecycle, rating, endorsements, and renewals
• Policy Administration Systems (PAS)

Candidates should have strong technical leadership capabilities, hands-on development experience, and the ability to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
