Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in computer science, mathematics, or engineering with at least 5 years of research and practical experience in computer vision.
• Experience in multimodal understanding (video highlight detection, slicing, audio/music understanding).
• Experience in vision and language (captioning, retrieval, VQA).
• Experience with language models and applying them to intelligent editing.
• Experience in large-scale training and RLHF.
• Experience implementing and optimizing complex, performance-critical systems.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge research and development in computer vision and machine learning, especially in multimodal understanding, vision-language, large-scale training.
• Transfer advanced technologies to TikTok products.
• Explore new products with AI at its core.
