Job summary

Indiana Tech seeks an innovative, collaborative AI Faculty Strategist to lead AI pedagogy across the curriculum and to guide instructional innovation. Reporting to the Executive Director of the AI Institute, with dotted-line ties to Academic Affairs, this role partners with deans and design teams to elevate AI teaching.

The strategist will advise faculty on AI design, support professional development, and drive course redesign and program transformation in a diverse higher education setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education or related field with at least five years of higher-education teaching experience.
• Strong understanding of AI applications in higher education and related pedagogy.
• Proven record of instructional innovation and technology integration in programs.
• Excellent written/spoken communication and ability to lead faculty through change and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the university’s primary faculty consultant for AI pedagogy and instructional innovation.
• Lead faculty-facing initiative for teaching AI within the curriculum and empower course redesign.
• Develop workshops, training, and professional development in AI for faculty.
• Collaborate with deans, curriculum design, and instructional designers to scale AI integration.
