Job summary

York Space Systems, based in Greenwood Village, CO, seeks a full-time Assembly, Integration & Test Technician to join a close-knit team driving space hardware from assembly through checkout. You will learn from experienced technicians in mechanical assemblies, soldering, harness builds, inspection and testing, while preparing flight hardware for operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Comfortable operating within the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency: Harness and Mechanical build experience.
• Communication skills (both written and oral).
• Mechanical aptitude: ability to utilize hand tools & precision tools.
• 2+ years experience in complex manufacturing.
• Ability to obtain Secret or TS/SCI security clearance.
• Lift and carry 50lbs.
• Climb ladders, stairs and work in restrictive spaces.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Assembly, Integration & Test Technician. Primary responsibilities will be working with/learning from more experienced technicians and teaching less experienced technicians in the following areas: complex mechanical assemblies, soldering, harness build, inspection, test, etc.

We are looking for candidates excited about being part of a close-knit team of individuals, passionate about space systems, and have the desire to continuously learn and improve. Further responsibilities will include inspection, assembly, integration and operational checkout of flight hardware.

Qualifications:

• Currently a contractor for York Space Systems builds
