Job summary

Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, Inc. is seeking an Assembly, Integration & Test Engineering Technician to support satellite hardware assembly, integration, and test activities across flight hardware programs.

The role covers planning, execution of test procedures, use of EGSE/MGSE, and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure quality, schedule, and safety in a fast-paced aerospace environment. Travel and shift support may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of related experience or an associate's degree with 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience with assembly, integration, and test of flight hardware.
• Manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to read work instructions and perform electrical and mechanical assembly, integration, and test.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test flight hardware per work instructions using hand tools, power tools, smart tools, and measuring devices.
• Set up and operate GSE and test equipment for production, qualification, and acceptance testing.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics; report testing or installation problems and document actions.
• Maintain system logs and documentation of testing and operation.
• Identify and resolve integration and test failures with I&T engineering stakeholders.
• Support occasional shift and overtime as needed.
