Rokt, a leader in e-commerce technology, seeks an AI Systems Specialist in New York City to optimize finance and business systems, drive AI adoption, and partner with Finance, Security, and People teams. This hands-on role supports NetSuite and other core platforms, improving processes and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in finance systems, is curious and technically inclined, and can translate business needs into clear system requirements with strong collaboration skills.

We are looking for an AI Systems Specialist

Target total compensation ranges from $157,000 - $214,000, including a fixed annual salary of $140,000 - $174,000, an employee equity plan grant, and world-class benefits.

Equity grants are issued in good faith, subject to company policies, board approval, and individual eligibility.

About the Role:

We are looking for an AI Systems Specialist to join Rokt’s G&A Enablement team in New York City. This role will help support and improve our core business and financial systems while partnering with the Finance, Security, and People teams on workflows, automation and AI adoption.

You’ll work alongside experienced finance systems and enablement partners to keep daily operations running smoothly, improve system documentation, support user access and configuration, and identify practical ways to use AI and automation to reduce manual work. This is a hands‑on role for someone early in their systems career who is curious, technically inclined, and excited to build.

Responsibilities:

• Support the day‑to‑day operations, configuration, and continuous improvement of Rokt’s core business and finance systems including NetSuite
• Manage system access, security roles, and user provisioning across core systems and platforms
• Help maintain clean, reliable data and support controls across core workflows
• Document system processes, support procedures, and common troubleshooting steps so teams can engage with core systems more effectively.
• Monitor systems issues and partner with senior team members, vendors, IT, or engineering to resolve them.

AI & Automation:

• Use AI‑enabled tools to improve documentation, testing, data review, workflow design, and automation.
• Identify repeatable manual processes and help prototype practical improvements.
• Support automation initiatives across financial and cross‑functional systems and workflows.
• Learn and apply low‑code, no‑code, and AI‑assisted development practices where appropriate.
• Track and report on automation ROI.

Cross‑Functional Partnership:

• Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Security & People team to support cross‑functional workflows, systems integrations between adjacent systems and ensure seamless data flows.
• Help translate business process needs into clear system requirements, documentation, and support plans.

About you:

• 3–5 years of experience in finance or business systems, consulting, or a related role.
• Hands‑on experience with NetSuite administration and configuration is preferred but not required.
• Strong interest in finance technology, automation and AI‑assisted ways of working.
• Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, system exports/imports, and structured problem‑solving.
• Basic familiarity with APIs, scripting, SQL, JavaScript, or low‑code tools is a plus, but deep engineering experience is not required.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks.
• Clear communicator who can document processes and explain technical concepts to non‑technical teams.
• Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Curious, practical builder mindset: you like finding gaps, learning new systems, and improving how work gets done.
