Job summary

EY is seeking AI Systems Engineers to build and operate the foundational substrate powering EY’s AI-native platform. You will own the cloud-native stack—from bare-metal and GPU infrastructure to Kubernetes and multi-tenant scaling—for EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on‑prem, edge, and air‑gapped targets.

You’ll ensure reliability, portability, and security while enabling fast, safe model deployment and seamless coordination with product and security teams in a regulated client context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 8+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure and Kubernetes environments.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes distributions and full lifecycle management.
• Experience across cloud, on-prem, hybrid, and air-gapped deployment models.
• Strong knowledge of multi-tenant isolation and network/storage integration.
• Experience with GPU infrastructure and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Own the cluster & cloud-native platform including Kubernetes and scheduling.
• Manage infrastructure foundation across Ubuntu, bare-metal, DPU, and NVAIE.
• Stand up EY Agentic AI environments across cloud/on-prem/edge/air-gapped.
• Deliver platform capabilities enabling downstream runtime and services.
• Maintain cluster lifecycle, autoscaling, and multi-tenancy boundaries.
• Ensure secure execution and model inference with sandboxing.
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD and GitOps to ensure reproducibility.
• Oversee backup, DR, and cross-environment replication.
• Ensure modular substrate with swappable components.
