NVIDIA is seeking an extraordinary innovator in networking and system architecture to join our Research team in Santa Clara. You will design networks optimized for AI systems and leverage AI/ML to advance routing, scheduling, and telemetry-driven control in large-scale GPU clusters.

The role requires a PhD (or equivalent) and 2+ years of relevant experience, with strong C++ and Python programming, and a track record of research publications.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in CS/EE/Physics or related field.
• 2+ years of industrial or academic experience in AI systems or HPC infrastructure.
• Publications in venues like ISCA/HPCA/MICRO/SIGCOMM/NSDI is a plus.
• Experience applying AI/ML to systems or networking problems.
• Strong programming and prototyping ability in C++ and Python; HDL/HLS desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design networks optimized for AI systems and use AI/ML for real-time decisions.
• Develop architectures for interconnects and large-scale GPU/accelerator clusters.
• Prototype ideas in simulation or analytical models; contribute to publications and patents.
• Collaborate with academia and external researchers; participate in programs and reviews.
• Deliver prototypes, papers, and potential product impact.
