Job summary

Sixtyfour in San Francisco is hiring engineers to build AI agents that research people and companies across the open web, public records, and social platforms, then structure the results. You will design, build, and deploy scalable systems that handle large data volumes with low latency.

You will own features end-to-end, write plans before coding, and work with Python and TypeScript/React. A strong emphasis is placed on OSINT experience, data quality, and production-ready infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering fundamentals and understanding of how real systems work underneath.
• System-design and architecture instinct with ability to break fuzzy problems into pieces and weigh tradeoffs.
• Ability to reason about data volume, latency, concurrency, and cost for large-scale systems.
• Experience shipping real projects and defending design decisions.
• Proficiency in at least one language (Python) and learning another (TypeScript/React).
• Genuine curiosity about LLMs and agents.
• Willingness to work in person in San Francisco.

Responsibilities

• Build AI agents for OSINT and deep web research across sources, cross-reference data, and structure results.
• Own thinking and design plans before writing code to maximize leverage.
• Design scalable systems considering data volume, concurrency, latency, and cost.
• Ship features end-to-end with rapid customer delivery.
• Develop and refine enrichment agents and data sources for better results.
• Write evals and tests to prove improvements over baselines.
• Improve long-running jobs with batching, caching, retries, and orchestration.
