Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in San Francisco is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to contribute to production AI agents, helping design and ship features for real-world use at scale.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with AI/LLM systems, agent tooling, and contemporary stacks like React, TypeScript, and Go, while eligible for a stipend and campus-like benefits during the internship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing, ambiguous environments.
• A builder and tinkerer mindset with high agency to ship
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production (even better).
• Familiarity with eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
• Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go.
• Intern program open to students graduating December 2027 - June 2028.

Responsibilities

• As a Software Engineer, Agent Intern, you’ll work directly on production AI agents for the company’s customers.
• You’ll contribute to the design and development of AI agents, shipping features, and learning from real-world use cases at scale.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to improve agent capabilities and usability.
