Job summary

Verizon is hiring an Engineer I - Systems Engineering (Generative AI & Agentic Systems) to build autonomous AI workflows and real-time decision engines for field operations. You’ll implement multi-agent architectures, graph data pipelines, and production-grade services in Python and Node.js.

You’ll work with LangChain, LangGraph, Neo4j, Pandas, PyTorch, and TensorFlow, in a hybrid role with on-site and home office days, contributing to a scalable, enterprise AI platform and CI/CD automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1+ year experience demonstrated through work/military.
• Experience in software and systems engineering with AI/ML development.
• Proficiency in Python and Node.js for backend development.

Responsibilities

• Engineer multi-agent AI workflows and stateful AI systems.
• Design data pipelines linking graph databases with search layers.
• Develop APIs and voice features for mobile apps.
• Build ML models with PyTorch/TensorFlow and evaluate them.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker.
