Job summary

Verizon is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy MCP servers and tools that connect external APIs and internal data with AI coding agents. You will develop agentic workflows and multi-agent architectures to automate SDLC tasks and integrate GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Devin AI, and VS Code extensions into the developer workflow.

You will work with open-source LLMs, fine-tuning, and rapid prototyping while aligning with enterprise needs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in AI/ML software engineering and building specialized frameworks.
• Experience building MCP servers and integrations connecting LLM agents to internal systems.
• Knowledge of IDE extension development and developer workflow automation.
