Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) seeks an experienced AI Systems Engineer to design, build, and deliver practical AI/ML solutions supporting internal R&D and business apps.

The role blends hands-on software development, deep learning, and system architecture to translate customer needs into clear technical requirements and reliable designs, including edge and air-gapped deployments. The ideal candidate will own key technical efforts, mentor junior engineers, work with technology leaders,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience with delivered software/AI solutions.
• At least 5 years of professional development experience; 3+ years building, integrating, or deploying ML/LLM capabilities.
• Strong Python proficiency with maintainable, tested code and ML/LLM integration into larger apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy AI-enabled applications and solutions.
• Develop AI systems with LLMs, autonomous workflows, and tool integration.
• Create AI-driven automation to improve efficiency and decision-making.
• Build AI agents using commercial and open-source platforms and frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, developers, and stakeholders to identify AI use cases.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and propose innovative approaches to challenges.
• Develop technical documentation, demos, prototypes, and proofs-of-concept.
• Support customer engagements, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
