Meta Reality Labs seeks a principal-level AI Systems Engineer to define the hardware architecture strategy for next-generation AI-accelerated computing systems powering VR/AR wearables and spatial computing.

You will shape long-term silicon and systems roadmaps for on-device AI inference and training, driving decisions across custom silicon, memory subsystems, and interconnects while collaborating with firmware, software, and product teams.

Competenze

• 15+ years of hardware architecture experience, AI/ML or HPC focus
• SoC/system-level architecture for AI inference/training
• Experience creating performance models and doing large-scale evaluation
• Proven multi-year hardware roadmaps influencing silicon strategy

Mansioni

• Define multi-year architectural roadmap for AI compute subsystems across Meta hardware
• Lead system-level architecture exploration for AI inference/training accelerators
• Drive cross-functional alignment to translate AI workloads into hardware specs
• Develop architectural models, simulators, and analytical frameworks
• Identify bottlenecks from NN operators to silicon microarchitecture
• Set technical direction for AI hardware platform decisions and IP strategies
• Collaborate with ML researchers and compilers to co-design hardware-software interfaces
