Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an AI Strategy Technical Program Manager to lead the practical application of AI across account operations. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on building, testing, and demonstrating AI solutions to improve delivery quality, productivity, and client outcomes.

The ideal candidate will manage AI vision, prioritize use cases, and develop evaluation frameworks while collaborating with AI champions, data owners, and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Information Systems, Business or a related field.
• Significant experience leading technology-enabled transformation in complex delivery, engineering, construction, consulting, or capital-program environments.
• Demonstrated experience building or deploying AI-enabled workflows, automations, agents, copilots, retrieval-based solutions, or similar tools.
• Demonstrated portfolio of recently delivered AI assets, workflow automations, or decision-support solutions with evidence of user adoption and business impact.
• Working knowledge of Python and SQL sufficient to inspect data, prototype logic, perform analysis, troubleshoot integrations, and review technical approaches.
• Experience designing evaluation datasets, test cases, acceptance criteria, scoring approaches, regression tests, and human-review procedures for AI solutions.
• Experience designing dashboards and measurement systems that connect AI usage to operational and commercial outcomes.
• Good knowledge of AI grounding, retrieval, prompt design, context management, structured outputs, model limitations, and responsible human oversight.
• Working knowledge of data governance, privacy, confidentiality, access control, data loss prevention, intellectual property, and responsible AI practices.
• Travel up to 25% may be required based on account, client, team, and delivery needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the account AI vision, roadmap, standards, and prioritized use-case portfolio in alignment with leadership objectives.
• Identify and prioritize AI use cases across design, engineering, document control, project controls, commercial management, and operations.
• Prototype AI solutions, including AI-enabled tools, workflow automations, and API integrations.
• Develop evaluation frameworks to assess accuracy, grounding, and safety of AI solutions.
• Build dashboards and measurement systems linking AI adoption to productivity and outcomes.
• Govern a library of AI solutions, prompts, and implementation guidance.
• Lead through influence across a matrix organization with stakeholders.
• Drive adoption through demonstrations, training, and change initiatives.
• Ensure AI usage aligns with client requirements and data governance.
