Job summary

Sunrise Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced AI Manager to lead our AI initiatives from strategic framing to scalable deployment.

You will oversee a team of AI engineers, analysts, and operations specialists, translating business goals into technical requirements and ensuring responsible, compliant AI systems with measurable impact. The role requires 5+ years in data science/ML, at least 2 years in a leadership role, and strong communication with executives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning or AI engineering.
• 2+ years in a leadership or management capacity.
• Microsoft OpenAI experience.
• Strong ability to communicate complex concepts to executives and teams.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Define the roadmap and objectives for enterprise AI and ML initiatives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Bridge between data science, MLOps, software engineering and business stakeholders.
• Team Management: Hire, mentor, and oversee a team of AI/ML professionals.
• Model Lifecycle & Operations: Oversee deployment, monitoring, data drift tracking and retirement.
• Governance & Compliance: Coordinate risk assessments, bias testing, and data privacy compliance.
• Performance Metrics: Track latency, model availability, accuracy, and ROI.
