Job summary

The Communities Foundation of Texas, via Educate Texas, seeks a Director to shape and execute a five-year AI strategy across Texas schools, translating the plan into annual priorities and programs.

Based in Dallas, the Director will lead partnerships, convenings, policy engagement, and program operations, collaborating with districts, higher ed, funders, and vendors to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred; Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience shaping strategy or program design, not solely operations.
• Deep knowledge of AI in education, K-12 and higher education systems in Texas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shape and evolve the five-year AI strategy into annual priorities, investments, and program design.
• Lead multi-stakeholder convenings, cohorts, and external engagement with funders and policymakers.
• Oversee day-to-day program operations, budgets, and vendor relationships across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with Educate Texas staff and partners to align AI portfolio with organizational strategy.
• Synthesize outcomes into strategic narrative for board and funders.
