Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Consultant AI Strategist to help state agencies advance AI adoption through practical, mission-aligned strategies and execution planning. You will translate roadmaps into actionable initiatives spanning governance, data readiness, and organizational change.

The candidate will collaborate with business, IT, and data teams to shape use cases, investment plans, and responsible AI practices for complex public sector programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college/university.
• Location within the United States and US Citizen per contractual obligations.
• 3+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, or technology advisory roles.
• Demonstrated experience supporting AI initiatives.
• Ability to translate AI concepts into business strategy and actionable plans.
• Ability to engage executive leadership and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate development of AI strategies and roadmaps aligned to agency mission and priorities.
• Advise leadership on AI investment planning, use case prioritization, and value realization.
• Lead stakeholder engagements to assess data maturity and change considerations.
• Translate complex AI concepts into clear recommendations for business and non-technical audiences.
• Identify high-impact AI use cases across programs and services.
• Support evaluation of AI technologies and vendor considerations.
• Develop frameworks for responsible AI adoption including governance and risk.
