Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking a leader to build and drive the enterprise AI strategy and transformation from the ground up. Reporting to the CIO, you will mobilize stakeholders and enable hands‑on experimentation across the organization.

The role combines strategy, enablement and execution with a focus on use‑case discovery, governance, and risk decisions, evolving into broader enterprise leadership as adoption matures. Travel a few times per year may be required.

Qualifications

  • At least 5+ years experience working in Information Technology including software development, engineering leadership, service delivery or another professional technology environment
  • At least 1+ years experience working in a role focused on AI enablement, AI Adoption, AI Advisory
  • Meaningful hands‑on experience building and implementing AI agents and AI‑enabled workflows
  • Ability to translate business needs into repeatable AI‑driven processes that reduce workload
  • Experience driving user adoption, training and enablement across varied levels of technical fluency
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Copilot and Claude
  • Ability to evaluate model selection, token economics, cost optimization and build‑versus‑buy decisions
  • Executive‑level communication skills, professional presence and credibility with senior leaders
  • Ability to rapidly shift between beginner enablement, hands‑on technical work and enterprise strategy discussions
  • Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills across technology, finance, accounting, legal, compliance and risk teams
  • Understanding of AI governance, risk management, compliance and responsible AI considerations

Responsibilities

  • We are looking for a Leader who wants a role where they can build the AI strategy and enterprise wide transformation for a well known, growing organization from the ground up. This company is only 1 year into their AI journey and needs a leader who can establish direction, mobilize stakeholders, and enable usage and experimentation.
  • You will get to lead the next phase of enterprise AI adoption by combining strategy, enablement and hands‑on execution in a highly visible role reporting to the CIO.
  • This person will help teams identify valuable use cases, build and teach others to build AI agents, automate meaningful workflows, shape governance and risk decisions, evaluate platforms and models, and advise executives on the enterprise AI roadmap.
  • The role begins with approximately one-third hands‑on development and is expected to evolve toward broader strategy, governance and enterprise leadership as adoption matures.
  • This role will focus on building AI strategy, roadmap, use case discovery, prioritization and incubation. It will also focus on AI adoption, literacy, change enablement, governance, risk coordination, value realization and performance reporting.

Job description

Anthropic and the broader LLM ecosystem

Financial services or lending industry experience

Experience supporting diverse business users in an organization larger than approximately 50 employees

Software development or software engineering leadership background

Experience partnering with enterprise technology providers and third‑party vendors in the AI space

Awareness of OpenAI offerings and emerging AI platforms

Experience advising leaders on customer‑facing AI capabilities and enterprise AI roadmaps

Willingness to travel a few times per year
