Job summary

Zebra Technologies Corporation in Lincolnshire, IL is seeking a motivated intern to join the CTO’s Solutions Startup team. You will gain hands-on experience building an AI engine and Claude-driven workflows, ingesting data, and developing automated analysis commands.

The program emphasizes training, mentorship, and real-world projects across data ingestion, prompt engineering, and tooling, with hybrid in-office collaboration at least three days per week.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate/graduate student in AI/ML/CS/Data Science or related field.
• Anticipated graduation between May 2027 and May 2028.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new data sources into ingestion pipeline and map structures.
• Build and test source connectors with modern authentication and delta detection.
• Run and refine ingestion workflows and generate summaries and syntheses.
• Develop Claude-driven commands for automated knowledge tasks (document chunking, extraction, synthesis).
• Optimize prompt templates and orchestration scripts for production use.
• Build automation and update dashboards and render dynamic HTML/PDF briefs.
• Maintain system quality through metadata governance and routine audits.
