Vaco by Highspring is seeking a speech evaluator to support LLM evaluations for a Fortune 100 client. This vendor role combines data annotation, validation, and rating prompts, with on-device testing. The position is hybrid in San Jose, CA, requiring onsite training in the first week and periodic in-person sessions thereafter.

Undergraduate degree and strong communication are essential. Fluency in English, excellent writing and analytical skills, and familiarity with AI chatbots are expected;

Overview

As a speech evaluator, you'll be expected to support LLM evals and engineering. Examples include data annotation and validation; rating LLM prompts and on device testing. This is a vendor role with Highspring for a client's team, a Fortune 100 company.

This position is hybrid at our San Jose, CA location.

Minimum Qualifications

• Fully fluent, written and verbal, in English
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with current AI chatbots
• Undergraduate degree
• Strong analytical skills
• 1-2 years work experience
• Fully proficient in Google Docs and Sheets

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluent (verbal and written) in any additional language than English
• Experience working on LLM data annotations
• Other testing, QA experience Schedule Requirements
• Monday to Friday, standard business hours (flexible schedule within business hours)
• Onsite presence in San Jose is required for training during the first week of onboarding and regularly after that (once to twice a month minimum).
