Job summary

Trace3 is seeking a Practice Director, AI Solutions in Irvine, CA. This client-facing role leads the pre-sales AI practice, framing, architecting, and defending AI solutions before a statement of work exists.

You will build a team of AI architects to scale engagements and ensure production-ready designs. The role sits at the intersection of data platforms, AI platforms, and governance, requiring deep expertise in solution architecture, data readiness, and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Advanced degree preferred, though demonstrated depth carries more weight than credentials.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical authority across AI pursuits: discovery, solution architecture, technical qualification, and defense of the proposed approach.
• Own the technical content of AI proposals, RFP responses, and executive briefings: reference architectures and risks.
• Run whiteboard sessions, technical workshops, and executive briefings with engineers, architects, and business leaders.
• Hand off to Services with documented design for production-ready delivery.
