Job summary

Divergent in Los Angeles is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer who will design, develop, and productionize large‑language and multimodal AI systems while leading AI enablement across the organization. You will integrate generative AI into products, build domain‑specific AI software with RAG and Agents, and train teams on responsible AI practices through office hours and self‑service resources.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science/AI/ML (or related) with 3+ years AI/ML engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python programming.
• Understanding of LLMs and multimodal models and their performance considerations.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG, and building AI Agents.
• Experience with ML/LLM libraries such as vLLM, LangChain, PyTorch, and HuggingFace.
• Practical experience deploying, scaling AI Agents in production.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Experience running trainings on AI best practices.
• Ability to create self-service enablement assets (playbooks, tutorials, templates).
• Proven track record gathering user feedback and iterating on AI tools to improve adoption.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize generative AI solutions into products and processes.
• Develop domain specific AI software using RAG and Agentic AI.
• Collaborate with data engineers, product teams, people operations, and legal to ensure compliant and responsible AI.
• Implement usage monitoring and bias mitigation to improve result quality.
• Act as the primary internal AI champion, providing guidance, training, and workshops.
• Create and maintain self‑service resources (playbooks, tutorials, templates) for safe use of AI.
• Host AI office hours, coaching sessions, and webinars to raise AI expertise.
• Partner with compliance and ethics teams to embed responsible‑AI checks.
• Gather user feedback, translate to product requirements, and iterate on AI tools.
