Job summary

Moog, Inc. is seeking an AI Developer for its Commercial Aircraft Group in East Aurora/ Buffalo, NY. You will design, build, and support AI-powered apps that enhance operations and decision-making across business units.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions, develop pilots, and ensure security and Responsible AI standards while supporting digital transformation efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Software Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• Experience developing software using Python, C#, JavaScript or similar.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of AI, Generative AI, LLMs and ML concepts.
• Experience building and supporting enterprise applications and integrations.
• Experience with APIs, databases, and data integration.
• Understanding software development life cycle and Agile practices.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and support AI-powered applications and solutions to improve operations.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML and Generative AI across the organization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver AI-driven solutions.
• Develop proof-of-concepts and pilots to demonstrate business value.
• Build and maintain integrations between AI platforms, apps, databases and systems.
• Develop prompts, workflows and AI interactions to optimize performance.
• Support deployment, testing, validation and ongoing enhancement of AI solutions.
• Ensure AI solutions meet security, governance and Responsible AI standards.
• Partner with IT, cybersecurity and business teams for successful adoption.
• Create and maintain technical docs, standards and support procedures.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.
• Evaluate emerging AI tech and recommend aligned solutions.
• Provide coaching and knowledge sharing to project teams.
