Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to design and deliver AI-enabled work solutions for finance and accounting services. You will build autonomous, agentic applications that integrate with enterprise systems and leverage AWS cloud capabilities.

The role offers growth, flexible work options, and meaningful client engagements. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cloud-based application development, strong AI tool experience, and a solid foundation in Python/JavaScript with API

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Five (5) plus years of experience developing applications in a cloud-based environment (AWS).
Significant hands-on experience designing and developing AI/Agent-based solutions.
Experience integrating data between systems using APIs
Experience with AI development tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, and Claude Code.
Strong understanding of AWS architecture, services and features (containers, serverless, security, networking).
Experience with Python and JavaScript; PHP/NodeJS/React a bonus.
Experience with databases (RDBMS/NoSQL) is desirable.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with colleagues and clients to scope, design, and build applications and infrastructure components for hosting solutions.
Develop utilities, tools, data fixes, and page-level customizations to support implementations.
Communicate effectively with internal staff, external developers and client teams.
