Job summary

Lexical Intelligence, based in Bethesda, MD, is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to design, develop, and operationalize AI-driven capabilities for a federal client. You will pilot AI solutions, stand up lightweight applets, and integrate foundation models within a shared infra, covering data prep, model integration, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.

The role emphasizes end-to-end AI development, scalable architectures, and collaboration with analysts, data scientists, and software

Qualifications

• Eight to ten years of relevant AI/ML development and deployment experience.
• Strong Python programming and model integration skills.
• Experience designing end-to-end AI solutions and deploying them.
• Data engineering and working with large datasets.
• Experience with cloud and containerized environments (AWS, Kubernetes).
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE/Data Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Pilot and implement AI solutions, including standing up lightweight applications within shared infrastructure.
• Integrate foundation models into applications and tools.
• Translate emerging AI techniques into practical, scalable tools.
• Support data preparation, model integration, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring across the full lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, reliable, mission-aligned AI systems.
