Tyree & D’Angelo Partners in Chicago seeks a Director of AI Solutions to lead the design, development and deployment of AI-driven capabilities across TDP as well as portfolio companies. This role bridges technology, business strategy and execution—partnering with internal teams and executives to identify high-impact opportunities and deliver scalable solutions that drive measurable value.

The position requires fluency in business transformation, some technical depth, and strong client-facing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technology consulting and business transformation.
• Experience delivering AI/ML or data platform solutions in production environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud and data stack (Azure/AWS/GCP; Databricks, Data Lakes, ETL pipelines).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and client engagements.
• Excellent communication skills with executive presence.
• Located in or willing to relocate to the greater Chicago area.
• Experience at top-tier consulting firms and exposure to private equity or multi-site environments is a plus.
• Experience with GenAI / LLM applications and product management or 0→1 builds.

Responsibilities

• AI Strategy & Opportunity Identification: identify AI/value opportunities and develop internal capabilities and portfolio use cases.
• Solution Architecture & Delivery: design scalable AI/data platforms and oversee end-to-end delivery from concept to production.
• Portfolio Engagement / Stakeholder Leadership: advise TDP and portfolio executives, lead tech assessments and transformations.
• Project & Vendor Management: manage cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure delivery.
• Product & Platform Development: contribute to reusable AI accelerators, tooling, platforms and GTM strategies.
