Job summary

Wellabe is seeking an AI & Automation Delivery Engineer in Des Moines, IA, to join the Center of Excellence and drive practical AI and automation solutions. You will build prototypes, reusable assets, and scalable implementations in partnership with architecture, data, security, governance, and process improvement teams.

You will deliver use cases from intake through production, ensuring security, measurability, and alignment with enterprise standards while enabling distributed teams to reuse

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in application development, automation, workflow configuration, systems integration, or related technology delivery.
• Experience building or configuring business applications, workflow automations, integrations, scripts, dashboards, forms, or productivity solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft AI, automation, and low-code/no-code platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Power Automate, Power Apps, AI Builder, Azure AI, Azure Logic Apps.
• Experience developing reusable templates, connectors, workflow patterns, prompt libraries, technical accelerators, pilots, demos, or solution showcases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, test, and refine AI and automation solutions using approved platforms, patterns, workflows, agents, prompts, connectors, integrations, and reusable components.
• Develop prototypes, pilots, proofs of value, and early production implementations with the AI & Automation Solution Architect, ensuring solutions are usable, secure, scalable, supportable, and aligned with approved designs.
• Create reusable automation patterns, workflow templates, prompt examples, connectors, scripts, configuration guides, sample solutions, and technical accelerators.
• Deliver AI and automation use cases by partnering with business teams to define goals, requirements, and measurable success criteria.
• Partner on solution architecture to convert approved patterns into working implementations and provide feedback on design complexity and platform limitations.
• Support responsible AI and governance by ensuring security, privacy, risk, governance, and review requirements are met.
• Prepare solutions for production with ownership, monitoring, and operational procedures; support testing and deployment readiness.
• Enable distributed teams with hands-on coaching, demos, and community support to scale approved patterns.
• Track delivery value with risks, dependencies, reusable assets, and realized benefits.
