Job summary

Data seeks an AI Solutions Engineer to design, develop, and deploy agentic AI-enabled workflows across the university. You will consult with campus stakeholders to architect scalable, cost-effective AI solutions and ensure secure integration with enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities include drafting technical designs, building and testing AI-enabled workflows, implementing robust safety guardrails, and mentoring student developers through pilots and rapid POC exercises.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to assess business requirements and design cost-effective, scalable AI-enabled solutions.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying secure AI-powered solutions.
• Mentor student developers and coordinate agile sprint activities.

Responsibilities

• Consult with campus stakeholders to evaluate opportunities and architect scalable AI-enabled workflows.
• Author technical designs, integration blueprints, and cost models to secure funding.
• Engineer, configure, test, and deploy context-grounded AI solutions.
• Implement prompt injection mitigations, guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and human-in-the-loop paths.
• Mentor student developers through requirements gathering, POC builds, and pilots.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
